Gorham Sterling Flask - Dated 1984

Isn't this a great Gorham flask?  Definitely does not fit in the breast pocket.  I snagged this a couple years ago.  I love it.  Nice and solid, weighing over 17 ounces and holds a full quart of my favorite bourbon.  I use it every day.  Something very special about pouring a cocktail out of a flask made the first year Coca Cola was sold in a bottle.  It has a Butler's Finish.  I didn't know what what this meant until I did some research.  Originally, well worn family silver acquired a certain patina from years of being polished by the help.  The butler finish was a manufacturing process that mimicked years of hand polishing....interesting isn't it? :)
