This is my second favorite Rookwood production glaze. Love these pieces with the dripping mustard yellow glaze. This Louise Abel nude paperweight #2868 is seen pretty often in online auctions. But I have never seen one as nice as this 1926 example. I have never seen such a crisp mold. Look at her face. You can even see the strands of her hair. I have never seen another one with this amount of detail and this great color. Usually find them in ivory. I love this glaze but I don't care for the flat yellow version. For me it needs to be deep mustard oozing color.
