A very rare piece indeed. This Doorstop is #2637 and is dated 1922. I have done a lot of research and this may one of only 3 known in existence. This one is in amazing condition. It doesn't even have a scratch on the gloss black glaze. The cat is notched out on the back to hold the door. Very heavy! Definitely a conversation piece. He has lots of attitude!
